June 27, 2019: To celebrate the 4th of July, Wolverine is introducing its new made-in-America Limited Edition Ramparts Boot, part of a new collection of US made workboots under the Wolverine Ramparts name. All proceeds from online sales from June 28 through July 5, will be donated to Workshops for Warriors, a nonprofit that provides quality hands-on training and education programs to help veterans find career options in advanced manufacturing. Additionally, from June 28 through Dec. 31, 5% of all sales of the entire Ramparts collection will be donated to the organization. The men’s boot retails for $230.

June 27, 2019: Cat Footwear is helping children have a comfortable place to lay their heads at night. The company and volunteers built 2,700 bunk beds for 5,000 kids on June 15 at an event for Bunks Across America, a program launched by Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that delivers bunk beds to families in need. Additionally, Cat Footwear donated 100 pairs of boots, 3,000 pairs of eyewear and 3,000 gloves from its brand. The durable shoe label will donate $5 of every pair of men’s Fairbanks and women’s Ellie shoes to the charity.

June 24, 2019: Olivier Rousteing made his spring 2020 Paris Fashion Week Men’s collection about fashion with purpose. The Balmain creative director’s fans were able to donate to the (RED) charity through sales of limited-edition Balmain festival merchandise and food and drinks. Proceeds help support (RED)’s services for prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care services. Puma, which announced that projects are on the radar with the luxury fashion house, was among the top sponsors.

June 23, 2019: Rack Room Shoes launched an exclusive new style at its stores and online that supports Skechers BOBS charity benefiting Petco Foundation. The women’s canvas shoe features red hearts and illustrations of long-haired chihuahuas Evie and Riley, known as The Tequila Sisters on Instagram. A portion of sales will go to the foundation’s initiatives, which include the funding of spaying and neutering services, adoption and medical care programs.

June 21, 2019: SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker shoes will be available for sale for just a $50 donation to the nonprofit organization Catholic Charities in Houston next month. On July 25, the “Shoe Away Hunger” exclusive event will raise funds benefitting food pantries to help feed hungry families throughout the Greater Galveston-Houston region. In addition, attendees can select an SJP handbag for a $25 donation.

June 15, 2019: Cat Footwear donated supplies to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds bunk beds for children and families in need. The shoe company gave over 100 boots to the volunteer-run organization, as well as 3,000 pairs of protective eyewear to help SHP build 2,700 bunk beds for its “Bunks Across America” nationwide Build Day on June 15. With the group’s help, more than 5,000 kids will no longer have to sleep on the floor.

June 11, 2019: Dwyane Wade has cleaned out his closet for a good cause. The Li-Ning ambassador, along with his sons Zion, Xavier and Zaire, has put up more than 300 items for sale today on luxury consignment e-tailer The RealReal. Among the items, Wade and his sons are selling Li-Ning gear as well as luxury shoes by Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Balenciaga and more on Therealreal.com. A portion of proceeds will benefit Wade’s World Foundation, which partners with community organizations that support education, health and social skills for at-risk youths.

June 11, 2019: The 46th season of the Drew League basketball tournaments kicked off earlier this month. The Nike initiative supports sports and more activities in South Central Los Angeles for community residents, students and at-risk youths through prevention and mentoring.

June 6, 2019: Vivobarefoot has collaborated with female mutilation activist Waris Dirie, a Somali supermodel, and her charity, the Desert Flower Foundation, on a sustainable footwear collection for the brand’s Soul of Africa line. The new range, which launched today, is hand-stitched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at a production facility that provides 100 sustainable jobs for local people; sourcing includes canvas material from the Village Industry, a local textile and garment producer; cotton yards come from local women’s cooperatives.

June 6, 2019: Shoe Station will host its second annual United Way Day Fundraiser on Saturday, June 8, at the chain’s 21 locations across the U.S. The family-owned retailer is donating $1 for every pair of shoes sold with no cap on the donation amount. The funds will benefit the United Way’s chapters in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. The United Way is dedicated to supporting the health, education and financial stability people in need.
