It's no secret that the pandemic was tough for Broadway. But, while theaters were closed for the better part of two years, the NYC theater community persevered—and now that performances are back in full swing, it's time to celebrate.

This month, Charitybuzz is hosting a special auction to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Called Broadway: Curtain Up, the sale is packed with items that are sure to make any Broadway fan excited. Think: VIP experiences, backstage tours, one-of-a-kind memorabilia, prime tickets, as well as personal messages and coaching from some of the Great White Way's biggest names.

Still not enough to satisfy your Broadway cravings? The centerpiece of the charity effort is a special sweepstakes—the Broadway Biggest Fan Giveaway. The prize offers the ultimate week-long Broadway experience including roundtrip airfare and accommodations for two, two premium tickets to eight different Broadway shows (Wicked, A Strange Loop, Come From Away, Hamilton, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, POTUS, and Six), the chance to meet Broadway stars, a private tour of the Shubert Archives, autographed merchandise, and more. All you have to do is donate $10 for the chance to win.

Broadway's well-known charity institution Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has been helping people in need since 1988. Over the years, the organization has raised more than $300 million for essential services for people across the country living with HIV/AIDS, and more recently, for those struggling with COVID-19, as well as other critical illnesses, helping them to receive medication, healthy meals, counseling, and emergency assistance. They also award annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations.
