On April 2nd, we learned cutest couple ever Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum are splitting. Obviously, this is wrecking our hearts, since the two have been together for almost nine years and have the sweetest background (they met in 2005 on the set of Step Up — so like, everything about them is a rom-com come to life). Today, they announced via Twitter that they were breaking up in the most amicable way.
Beside feeling very sorry for ourselves because this is devastating and hurts us, we obviously want to know all the fine details. Like, why exactly are they splitting up? Will they be OK? Will they be OK financially? I mean, all very important questions. While we do kinda know why they broke up (they’re best friends but realized they needed some space), we also know that financially, they’ll both be alright. Channing Tatum’s net worth is estimated to be around $60 million, according to Bankrate.
Tatum is known for the Magic Mike movies, but he’s starred in Step Up, She’s the Man, Dear John, 21 Jump Street, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Logan Lucky, and more. Plus, he’s been in commercials for several brands, like Pepsi and Mountain Dew. Dude’s got a pretty hefty resume. No wonder he’s loaded.
