Chance the Rapper's Grammy Performance Is the Most Uplifting Thing You'll See Today
Chance the Rapper is having a great night. This marks the hip-hop fave's first Grammys, and he's taken home three awards (after being nominated for seven)-despite not being signed to a record label. His performance during the ceremony was the perfect finale for his achievements this evening.
Chance (born Chancellor Bennett), previously said he's "trying to perform every song from Coloring Book on television once," so it made sense that for this big evening, he did a mini medley of songs from his newest mixtape. He led an impassioned performance of "How Great," "Blessings," "All We Got" and "No Problem," which earned a Grammy for Rap Performance. There were some incredible vocals, an epic gospel choir and guest appearances by Kirk Franklin, Francis and the Lights and Tamela Mann.
