Every year, Veterans Day falls on November 11 to honor those who have served in the armed forces. There are a number of ways to observe the holiday, whether by thanking a retired military member in your life or by donating to a charity that helps support veterans and their families. As a way of showing appreciation to both active and retired military personnel, many chain restaurants are offering free or discounted meals to veterans on Wednesday, November 11. In order to be eligible, all you need is a valid military ID to show proof of service.

Dunkin'

On Wednesday, November 11, veterans and active duty military are invited to participating Dunkin' restaurants nationwide for a free donut of their choice, no purchase necessary.

Denny's

As an ongoing tradition to America's veterans for their service, Denny's is inviting all active, inactive, and military personnel into participating Denny's locations nationwide on Veterans Day from 5 a.m. to noon to enjoy a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam. The Build Your Own Grand Slam includes a choice of four delicious items to truly make it your own. And with over 11 choices—such as fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked to order, bacon strips, buttermilk biscuits, hash browns, and oatmeal—there is something for everyone. The offer is dine-in only and redeemable with a valid military ID or DD 214.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for all past and present armed services members this Veterans Day, November 11. The offer is available for dine-in or takeout and proof of service must be shown for redemption.

Wendy's

To thank all of those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Military, Wendy's restaurants nationwide are offering a free small breakfast combo with valid military ID. No purchase necessary.

Cracker Barrel

Throughout the month of November, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will be honoring military families by donating a $10 gift card to Operation Homefront for each Country Fried Turkey Family Meal Basket sold now through the end of the month. And on Veterans Day, Cracker Barrel will celebrate the brave men and women who have served our nation by offering all military veterans a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake when dining at any Cracker Barrel location nationwide.

Friendly's

Friendly's will again be honoring this country's veterans and active service members by offering a free meal. On Veterans Day, all former or active military personnel can receive a free All-American meal for lunch or dinner, which consists of the All-American Burger, served with a side of fries and a drink. The burger can be upgraded to a cheeseburger for free. This dine-in only offer is available to all veterans and current service members with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card, at participating locations.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill is offering 10 percent Heroes Discount to all service members, veterans, and first responders all day, every day with show of valid ID.

Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse is saluting heroes with a free Bloomin' Onion and Coke product to all active and retired military for Veterans Day. Additionally, Outback Steakhouse continues to support Operation Homefront to help make life easier for military, veterans, and families. Beginning on Veterans Day, customers will have the opportunity to donate (round up their check or add an open dollar amount) via their dining check in support of Operation Homefront thru the end of the year. Outback Steakhouse offers a heroes discount daily. All servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders with 10 percent off their entire check all day, everyday with a valid state or federal service ID.

California Pizza Kitchen

This year, veterans can enjoy a free meal from a pre-selected menu at CPK for either dine-in or take-out only on Veterans Day. Veteran or active military guests must be in uniform, or show military ID or other proof of service. Additionally, each veteran or active military guest will also receive a bounceback good for one free pizza, pasta, or salad with the purchase of a pizza, pasta, or salad valid November 12 to November 20.

Carrabba's Italian Grill

All service members and first responders get 10 percent off any visit to their local restaurant on Veterans Day and year round.

Romano's Macaroni Grill

At Romano's, veterans get a free Mom's Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti entrée at all U.S. locations. Mom's Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti features house-made beef, veal, pork, and ricotta meatballs sprinkled with romano cheese, topped with imported Pomodorina sauce, and served over imported, bronze-cut spaghetti. All veterans and active military can simply present their military ID or other proof of service while dining-in or carrying-out.

All veterans and active duty personnel get 50 percent off their entire meal on Veterans Day at all U.S. and Puerto Rico locations. In addition, each veteran or active duty guest will receive 10 percent off the meals of up to three additional guests by presenting their military ID.

Veterans and active-duty military can stop in for 10 free wings with any 10 purchased from Hooters long list of wing styles as a thank you for their service this Veterans Day, November 11. All veterans who present a military ID or proof of service at any participating Hooters location nationwide are eligible.

QDOBA

Active military and veterans get 50 percent off any entree on Veteran’s Day, November 11. Purchases must be made in-store at participating locations. Eligible guests must show military ID at checkout to redeem.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Grimaldi's honors all active duty and retired military personnel with a year-round 15 percent discount. In addition, to celebrate Veterans Day, Grimaldi's is showing extra appreciation by offering 25 percent off an entire purchase for US veterans. You must show valid Military I.D. to redeem.

Smashburger

On this day only, veterans who come into participating locations can enjoy a free classic double Smashburger with any other purchase.

Sonny's BBQ

Sonny's BBQ locations will provide a free Pork Sandwich to all veterans and active military to honor and recognize current and past military personnel. Service people that stop by on Veterans Day will also receive a voucher for a free BBQ Egg Roll appetizer, redeemable with a valid military ID from December 1 to December 15.

Cicis Pizza

Cicis Pizza is offering a free adult buffet on November 11 to all veterans and active duty military personnel. All you have to do is present a valid military ID and this coupon.

Bob Evans Restaurants is paying homage to its founder's legacy as a military veteran by inviting veterans and active duty military to enjoy a free meal on November 11, 2020 with proof of military service. This year, Golden Corral will hand out free meal and beverage cards to all active duty and veterans from November 1 t0 November 30.
