The lineup of holiday hits continues for Great American Family this weekend with the premiere of Christmas on Windmill Way starring Christa Taylor Brown and Chad Michael Murray.
Great American Family has rolled out several great new movies like A Paris Christmas Waltz, A Royal Date for Christmas and 'Twas the Text Before Christmas and they have over a half dozen new films to premiere before the new year. What is Christmas on Windmill Way about?
Mia Meijer (Christa Taylor Brown) excitedly anticipates the town’s Christmas Market Dutch Bake-Off competition and is filled with confidence that her Oma will win the “Golden Rolling Pin” prize with her award-winning Kerststol. But her excitement comes crashing down when she learns Oma has sold the deed to their Windmill Way property that had been in their family for generations. It’s an especially tough pill for Mia to swallow when she learns the property developer is her former boyfriend, Brady Schaltz (Chad Michael Murray), who also must let Mia and Oma know that a new deal has come into play. Initially, they thought the Meijer family's heritage Dutch sawmill, renowned for the past 90 years for its fine millwork and beautiful wooden furniture, would be safe but with new owners. Now, they've learned it will be torn down to put up a luxurious resort. Mia can't let that happen.
