Let the countdown begin: On Wednesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) released the preliminary New York Fashion Week schedule for Fall 2024, which begins Feb. 9 and ends Feb. 14. It includes more than 70 confirmed designers, such as returning designers Carolina Herrera, Coach, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors and Proenza Schouler. Helmut Lang will kick things off, and Thom Browne will close out the fashion-filled lineup.

Monse, Lafayette 148 and Libertine are returning to the New York runway this season. Delpozo is also staging a comeback for its 50-year anniversary with an intimate, appointment-only presentation. First-timers include Callas, Colleen Allen, Jane Wade and Meruert Tolegen, plus Ludovic de Saint Sernin coming all the way from Paris. 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Melitta Baumeister will debut its latest digitally, while runners-up Diotima and Zankov as well as finalists Kim Shui and Tanner Fletcher will host presentations.

"For the upcoming season, we continue to build on New York Fashion Week's unique strengths, from new and emerging designers to established and international brands and diverse voices who are defining global fashion creativity," Steven Kolb, CFDA's CEO, said, in a statement. "In addition, we are proud to continue and grow the CFDA NYFW Travel Fund, bringing more international editors to New York, allowing them to build meaningful relationships with American designers, and supporting American fashion on a global level."
