My Cellar: Local wine bar hosting grand opening weekend

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A new family-owned wine bar, My Cellar, is officially opening on Friday, May 17, off Briargate Boulevard, focusing on serving exceptional wines in a beautiful and welcoming space with a stunning view of Pikes Peak.

Husband and wife founders, Eric and Sheryl Medeiros, were inspired by their travels and love for wine to open My Cellar, with a curated wine list that prioritizes quality over quantity. Patrons can enjoy a rotating selection of wines, select beers, and cocktails, as well as appetizers, small bites, salads, flatbreads, and special entrees.

“At My Cellar, we believe that enjoying exceptional wine should be fun and not intimidating,” said Sheryl Medeiros, co-founder of My Cellar. “Our space is an extension of our home, and we want everyone who visits My Cellar to be delighted by delicious wine and food, surrounded by friends both old and new, and eagerly looking forward to their next visit.”

Eric and Sheryl Medeiros are from an enthusiastic Air Force family, and moved to Colorado Springs after their son was a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. They look forward to serving other Air Force families during graduations and get-togethers.

For their opening weekend, guests can enjoy the debut of brunch and bottomless mimosas from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, with the standard menu offered through the afternoon and evening.

My Cellar’s regular hours will be six days a week, closed on Mondays. Weekday hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with extended hours on Fridays until midnight. Saturdays, the wine bar is open from 9:30 a.m. to midnight, and on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
