My Canadian queen Celine Dion turned 50 on Friday. In honor of her special day, her team released a Facebook video slideshow that every Canadian household should have played all weekend. I’m not sure if that really happened, but I do know that the slideshow is a real delight. It includes everything from never-before seen photos of the singer growing up in Quebec (yes, baby Celine is in there), her early performances, and her late husband René Angélil and their three kids. “From the very first song written with her Mom and brother, we take a look back at some of the precious moments in Celine’s personal and professional life,” her team wrote in the caption.

While the video didn’t include my personal favorite Celine moments (ahem, the whole Titanic era), these precious moments did make the cut:

According to Entertainment Tonight, Celine had planned on celebrating the big 5-0 at home with her family. Her original plans included a concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, but the singer was forced to cancel several weeks of performances to undergo surgery for an ear condition. In March, Celine released a statement about her condition known as Patulous Eustachian tube, which affects her ability to sing. “My luck hasn’t been very good lately,” she said. “I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens… I just can’t believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I am so sorry.”

On Sunday, Celine took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes. “I can’t wait to get back to being 100% and to see you all again!”
