Celeste brings coastal European tastes to Narragansett. See what's being served.

Celeste is the latest addition to the Newport Restaurant Group. The restaurant is at the site of the former Trio Kitchen + Bar in Narragansett. Celeste promises an innovative approach to coastal European cuisine.

The location at 15 Kingstown Road has been designed with a reconfigured patio and outdoor bar to enhance al fresco dining. The refreshed interior is also meant to reflect the new concept. The restaurant is large, with 156 seats indoors and 64 seats outdoors.

Executive chef Andrew Gould and the Newport Restaurant Group’s culinary team have a brand new menu that features a raw bar, an expanded pizza selection, shareable small plates and entrees in the flavors of coastal Italy, France and Spain.

Lou Capodilupo is the general manager of the new restaurant. Trio opened in 2008 and closed earlier this year as the renovations were to begin on the building that was constructed 16 years ago.
