These Celebs Have a Personal Photographer Just For Their Instagram Pics

Stars, they’re just like us! Except when it comes to Instagram, that is. When it comes to celebrity Instagrams, we know their pages are littered with photo shoot outtakes and recent magazine covers — but in between, we get equally flawless “candid” shots of beach vacations, lounging around the house, or spontaneous selfies. Well, it turns out there’s a reason those shots are so flawless: most of your favorite celebrities employ personal photographers to accompany them on trips, shoot them around the house and take all those so-called candid pics. They’re then professionally edited before they ever hit your feed — so yeah, there’s a reason our five-minute selfies never quite look the same.

We tracked down the personal photographers to stars like Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian-West, and Jennifer Lopez, below — plus some of the most beloved pictures they’ve taken.

Remember this viral ‘Gram? It looks like a casual, candid beach moment for J. Lo and her loved ones — but it was actually taken by celebrity photographer Ana Carbalossa. She’s a close friend of Lopez, and is also responsible for other viral posts on her Instagram, like this one with A-Rod and their kids.

Kim Kardashian-West currently uses photographer @pierresnaps. He’s responsible for this year’s Kardashian-Jenner Christmas card, as well as some more intimate shots of Kim and Kanye together.

Kevin Hart has a very special relationship with personal photographer Kevin Kwan — he even accompanied Hart on his honeymoon back in 2016, just to make sure they got the perfect vacation shots.

Finally, we have Beyoncé’s photographer. Robin Harper has been her personal photographer for over five years, recently doing a five-month stint traveling with Beyoncé and Jay-Z for their On The Run 2 world tour.
