We caught up with the in-demand skin expert to see how he gets through a typical day during this star-studded time of year.

6:00 a.m. The first thing I do is set my day with an intention. I try to do like a mini meditation, whether it’s a nine-minute or a 15-minute one through an app. Then I’ll write my goals for the day.

7:00 a.m. I always start my day with a Tracy Anderson class, whether I’m in L.A. or New York. If I’m traveling abroad, then it’s virtual Tracy class. Tracy’s class is really important for me to do in the morning—there’s something about that mind-body connection with her classes. Since there’s no verbal cueing, you’re really using your brain. I always say I’m most creative right after a Tracy class, because my endorphins are high, I’ve listened to great music, I’ve gotten my sweat on. Most importantly, I’ve left it all on the floor, and then I’m filled with energy and can start my day.

8:00 a.m. I’m a big smoothie person, so I make myself a beauty smoothie in the morning. I try to include a variety of fruits every day—I aim to eat a rainbow. I switch them up, but usually it has avocado, raspberries, strawberries, papaya, or whatever fruits are in season and fresh. I also add pumpkin protein and flax seeds.

8:30 a.m. My morning skincare routine is pretty simple. After a cold shower, I use my Secret Sauces. Developing a skincare line was a passion of mine for a long time, and I just wanted to help simplify people’s routines. That’s what the sauces are: magic-potion serums that are a one-and-done step. It feeds your face with so many essentials, like omegas. If I have time, I’ll use the Lyma Laser to push the sauce into my skin. I use the sauce to set my intention for the day, too, since it’s a high-vibrational serum. I re-create my Beauty Sandwich Melt Massage, where you warm up the hands with the sauce and melt it into the skin. It brings life back to the skin and depuffs. It’s the Beauty Sandwich treatment, but in a bottle. Sometimes I’ll mix it with the Chanel Le Lift Serum.

9:00 a.m. I’m always in the Row when I work. The [Olsen] twins were some of my first clients. I’m into neutrals, so whether it’s all navy, or gray, or a combination of the two. I really feel comfortable in the Row because it’s streamlined and goes with the wabi-sabi aesthetic of my spa and pop-ups. Lately, I’ve been really into Saint Laurent and that vibe, but that’s more of an evening look. Comfort is really important because I’m on my feet all day, so I have to be in beautiful fabrics.

10:00 a.m. I see clients starting at 10, and it could go until late into the evening. I’ve had some midnight sandwiches, for example during the Met Gala. On event days, I could have up to 25 faces on the carpet. Luckily, all the prep for event days is done 24 to 48 hours before and with the help of my team. That way, I can just walk in and have the day run seamlessly. The stage needs to be set. I need all my sous-chefs ready so I can prep the sandwiches. Each treatment is between 40 and 45 minutes. People want to get in and get out. That’s the beauty of my treatment—you can get snatched and lifted in a short amount of time.

During my treatments, I listen to the Schumann resonances, which are at a frequency of about 783 hertz, which is the same frequency as Earth, and they’re on Spotify. I went to Austria this past summer to a famous detox clinic called MayrLife and the first thing they do when you arrive is put you on a vibrating plate that is set to the Schumann resonance. I’ve found that throughout the day, it’s important to listen to these resonances when there’s a lot of energy in the room, which is always the case in my treatments; my devices are tuned to a frequency, the person I’m working with has a frequency, I have a frequency. I try to always be at a very grounded frequency in the treatments so they can uplift my clients. That’s my beauty biohack to always staying chill.

12:00 p.m. Instead of a coffee or matcha, I drink electrolytes—whether it’s drinking a Superieur or even putting Icelandic sea salt in my water. Throughout the day, I’m constantly spraying a mist on my face. My favorite at the moment is from my brand, but it hasn’t been released quite yet. Since I’m always applying my sauces with my hands, I use a nontoxic hand sanitizer from London-based brand Perfumer H. I love their Orange Leaf hand sanitizer.

2:00 p.m. I don’t have free time between my clients, truthfully—I go back to back to back. For a lunch break, I’ll do a smoothie in between. I'm very big on hydration. During the day, I drink very pristine water from the Austrian Alps called Hallstein, which is from a very famous glacier in Austria. I try and drink about three liters of water a day, so about a half of a bottle per hour.

5:00 p.m. The moment I’m done seeing clients, I like to take a warm salt bath for at least 15 minutes. If I can get in a cryotherapy or a cold plunge session at Remedy Place, that’s a nice end to the day.

6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, I try and go for a big breakfast, a big lunch, and then I fast at dinner. But on event days, that’s harder to do, so I have a light dinner of a protein with a vegetable. I used to be creature of habit, but I found out that we should be eating different foods every day for a healthy and diverse microbiome.

8:30 p.m. My nighttime routine starts with my two sauces, of course. Then I use the Lyma Laser again for at least 30 minutes while lying in bed with television on in the background. Right now, I’m loving The Crown, but I’m also a RuPaul’s Drag Race fanatic. I like to watch something light at the end of the day.

10:00 p.m. Right before bed, I put on another resonance to really wind down and an evening meditation. I’m specific with my bed because, well, comfort. I’m all about a nontoxic mattress. I sleep on a Hästens mattress and silk pillows with silk pillowcases on top. Another thing I like to do at night is use my Bemer therapy mat, which has amethyst crystals and infrared light to help me detox and get grounded. Depending on the day that I’ve had, I [might] sleep on it, but at the very least use it for 20 minutes. I put time into my dental hygiene. I love my Dr. Apa products—the toothbrush and water pick are amazing. The last thing I do is write down all my wins of the day. A lot of times, we’re so hard on ourselves and think about what’s went wrong instead of what’s going right. I think if you write down what’s going right, you’ll attract more of that. It could be as simple as getting a parking spot.
