Celebrity Couples Who Starred in Hallmark Channel Movies Together
It wouldn’t be a Hallmark Channel movie without chemistry between the two leads … and sometimes the love isn’t just onscreen! These actors in Hallmark movies are couples in real life.
Three years after Carlos and Alexa PenaVega wed in 2014, they starred in the made-for-TV film Enchanted Christmas. The pair have gone on to costar in their own Hallmark Channel movie franchise, Picture Perfect Mysteries.
“When we’re working, we’re full-on working. But when we’re home … It’s just us,” Alexa told E! News in February 2020. “It’s our family. We focus on each other and we take time with each other.”
She added that their film series is a “blessing” as the twosome are able to spend time with sons Ocean and Kingston on set.
“I think the hardest thing in this industry is families get separated all the time because of work,” she said. ”We really try to keep each other just together as a unit.”
Two years prior, the Spy Kids alum told Us that “communication” is the key to their happy union.
“We both have the same foundation so we are reaching for the same goals in our family,” Alexa told Us in 2018. “It’s hard to communicate sometimes. So it’s easier said than done, but the more you work at it and spend ‘intentional’ time together, not just ‘living together,’ your marriage will prosper.”
Eric Winter and Roselyn Sanchez, who tied the knot in 2008, collaborated on Hallmark’s A Taste of Summer in 2019.
“We had a blast but our process is very different. This was a light-hearted romantic comedy, so there was no point in us being all crazy serious. I goof around on set and have fun with everybody,” Winter told Us at the time. “Roselyn was so serious. I was looking at her like, ‘Why do you look like you want to kill me? We’re working together, we’re supposed to be falling in love!’”
Meanwhile, Colin O’Donnell couldn’t help but gush about getting to work with wife Patti Murin, who he married in 2018. “Been a lot of cozy moments with this one on set,” he shared via Instagram in December 2019 while on the set of Love on Iceland. “Feeling pretty darn lucky to get to do something so fun in such an incredible place with a fantastic group of people, most of all @pattimurin…come on now!”

The couple confirmed their romance in June 2023, one month before their Hallmark movie, A Royal Christmas Crush, premiered.

The pair met while filming 2018's The Sweetest Heart, where they played exes who reunited after 14 years apart. Fans speculated for years after the film that the two were actually dating, and they confirmed their relationship status when they announced in June 2022 that they welcomed their first child together. The baby's birth was a surprise to fans since neither publicly revealed they were expecting.

The couple, who wed in 2015, appeared in the 2020 movie Love on Iceland. They welcomed daughter Cecily in July 2020 and announced in October 2022 that a second child was on the way. Their second daughter, Lorelai, was born in April 2023.
Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten
After meeting on the set of 2017’s Love Blossoms, Webster and VanSanten started dating. In February 2021, the One Tree Hill alum revealed that Webster had proposed.
“We hiked 2000ft to the top of the mountain where @iamvictorwebster told me he loved me for the first time years ago! What happened next still has me in shock … He told me he wanted to spend forever with me, as he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him!!” the actress wrote via Instagram. “I didn’t say anything for awhile, not out of suspense although it would have been a good prank, but because my legs stopped working, I had to sit down and I couldn’t stop crying and kissing him … I forgot to say anything at all … BUT OBVIOUSLY I SAID YES!!! I cant wait to spend FOR-EV-ER with my best friend!!!! I F—KING LOVE YOU.”
They tied the knot three times in 2021. After less than two years of marriage, Webster filed for divorce. He listed their date of separation as January 10, 2023.
Daniel Stine and Rachel Hendrix
The couple, who met in 2016 on the set of Virginia Minnesota, starred alongside one another in Hallmark’s Midway to Love. The pair tied the knot in May 2019.
