The Celebrity-approved Vacation Destinations of Summer 2018

We may already be well into July, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to plan your own summer escape. If you’re lost on where to go don’t worry, because celebrities around the globe have you covered.

This year, it seems like every celebrity is off on an epic adventure, taking full advantage of the longer days, sunshine, and places that come to life during the warmer months. From cultural dives into the Middle East, to getting glamorous in the South of France, to trekking through Tasmania, A-listers are doing summer vacation right. Here’s where they’re going, and how you can get there, too.

Christie Brinkley: St. Tropez

This summer, the supermodel mom traveled to St. Tropez with her equally stunning daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook. There, the pair literally dove into the scenery, jumping into the Mediterranean Sea, and even snapped a few fashion magazine-worthy Instagram photos along the way.

Katie Holmes: Saudi Arabia

As Holmes recently told Travel + Leisure, "I went to Riyadh [Saudi Arabia] recently. It was so beautiful. It was a long trip, but I really enjoyed it. I love the women that I met. It was really inspiring to see these women enjoying the new freedoms they now have and there is a sense of creativity that is happening."

Nicole Kidman: Tasmania

Kidman is one busy woman this summer. As she shared with People, not only will she be spending quality time with her kids at the beach this year, she’ll also be making time for her mother and sister, too.

“My mom’s coming from Australia, so I’m going to take her to the theater in New York. Also my sister and I are going to take our little girls on a hiking trip in Tasmania, which is a great place to hike,” she said.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: Ireland

Even the royals are getting in on the summer vacation action, even if work is involved.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent July 10 and 11 in Ireland, meeting with locals, celebrating with the British Ambassador, and learning more about Ireland’s deep and eclectic history. According to reports, they also managed to fit in a lunch date at one of Dublin's most popular restaurants, Delahunt.

Jay Z and Beyoncé: Cannes

Jay and Bey may be busy with their On The Run II tour, but they apparently always have time for a quick vacation with their kids. In early July, the pair shared a few photos from their day off in Cannes alongside their eldest child, Blue Ivy. As the pictures proved, the family spent time on the water, taking a relaxing boat ride, and sitting on the steps of what surely is a magical villa.

Pink and Carey Hart: Indonesia

If you’re going on vacation you might as well go big or go home, just like Pink and her family. This summer the singer and her sports action star husband took their two children, Willow Sage, 7, and son Jameson Moon, 17 months, on a journey to Bali that they will surely never forget.

“Thank you to the people and the ocean and the energy of Bali. We love you,” Pink wrote on Instagram.

No celebrity summer vacation list would be complete without mentioning the Hamptons at least once. Thankfully, Bieber and Baldwin checked this wildly popular Long Island destination off the list.

In early July, the pair was spotted on the side of the road after Bieber’s $200,000 car broke down on the way to their Hamptons getaway. Don’t worry, the car was soon taken care of and we’re sure they went on to sip rosé poolside in no time.
