These are the celebrities who wore Time’s Up pins at the 2018 Golden Globes
As we expected, the 2018 Golden Globes is more than a little political, and we’re loving it. In addition to bringing some BAMF activists as plus ones, and wearing black as a sign of solidarity, many Hollywood actresses and actors are also voicing their discontent with a system that has allowed sexual misconduct to flourish by wearing black and white “Time’s Up” pins at the Golden Globes.
Time’s Up is a new, ambitious initiative put together by some 300 actresses, agents, writers, directors, and executives. Its goal is to fight sexual misconduct. And not just with pins, either: Time’s Up has a $14 million legal defense fund available, and is already going around to get pledges of gender equality in many offices in the entertainment industry.
Some of its big name members include Reese Witherspoon, America Ferrera, Shonda Rhimes, and Eva Longoria. We obviously love and support this cause, and seeing so many of our favorite celebs sporting the pins — mostly men as far as we can tell, but we’re still keeping our eyes peeled — is pretty wonderful.
Here’s a list of some of the celebs we’ve seen with the pins so far, and we can’t wait for this list — and support for this cause — to grow.
