Celebrities Dress Denim Up and Down

Jeans are in heavy rotation as celebrities transition their style from winter to spring. Depending on the occasion, they dressed denim up or down.

High heels and a crystal choker added a glam look to Lala Anthony’s Western denim shirt and ripped jeans. Camila Cabello styled a dark denim zip-up cocktail dress with a crystal necklace and an updo.

Precious Lee tried on the “mob wife” aesthetic by pairing her patchwork denim coordinates with a long fur coat. Actress Joey King also chose denim coordinates—a pleated mini skirt and knotted button-down shirt.

Bradley Cooper opted for a varsity jacket and dad jeans in New York City. Ashley Graham’s downtown look of comprised of ripped knee jeans, a leather bomber jacket and heels. Emily Ratajkowski also played down her model style by wearing basic jeans and a hoodie in the Big Apple.

On the West Coast, rolled up jeans and a farm sweatshirt were part of actress Mila Kunis’ cozy look. Lisa Rinna balanced voluminous barrel-shape jeans with a leopard-print puffer coat.

Other celebrities found a happy medium between casual and dress. Actresses Millie Bobby Brown and Olivia Wilde stepped out in jeans with seam details down the fronts of legs. Red loafers—the pop color of the season—added a trendy vibe to Hailey Bieber’s straight fit jeans, striped sweater and trench coat.

Celebrities dressed for destinations as well. Actress Nicola Peltz channeled the 2000s “WAG” style of mother-in-law Victoria Beckham when she stepped out in Paris dressed in a belted leather jacket, platform boots and slim blue jeans. Actress Rachel Brosnahan went for classic Parisian chic with a stripped knit top and washed black jeans in the City of Light.

Jeans, a denim jacket and an indigo puffer vest were bold choices for musician Robbie Williams. The U.K. singer wore the outfit in Amsterdam, a city known for its Jean School and roster of denim brands with HQs there.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex leaned into Texas’ denim roots when they visited the Lone Star State for SXSW. Meghan Markle added a beige blazer to her double denim look, while Prince Harry paired a polo shirt with dark jeans.
