Celebrate spring at the ‘Kern County Fair Spring Fest’ this weekend

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Fair is five months away, but if that feels like too long of a wait, head over to the fairgrounds this weekend.

The “Kern County Fair Spring Fest” kicked-off Thursday and continues through Sunday. Spring Fest runs from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Upmarket brings vibrancy to old Haberfelde building in downtown Bakersfield

The spring celebration features carnival rides, games and food.

Tickets are $5, plus $5 for parking. Ride tickets will cost you $1 each and most rides require three to six tickets. Games require 10 tickets each.

There is also an unlimited ticket option available which costs $37 and includes free admission. The fairgrounds are located at 1142 South P Street.
