Tony Hawk’s organization, The Skatepark Project, is excited to invite all y'all to a Go Skateboarding Day celebration at the new Brooklyn Banks (for you noobs, it's under the Brooklyn Bridge on the Manhattan side), and will include food, open skating, and a "tricks challenge." Community members and representatives from The Skatepark Project and partner Gotham Park will be in attendance as the event kicks of at 12 p.m. ET.

This will be the first Go Skate Day celebrated at the famed Brooklyn Banks skatepark since its partial restoration and reopening just a few weeks ago. The historic skatepark is an open recreation space for all ages and abilities, and provides a unique and thoroughly New York park that is already bringing the skateboarding community back together in a legendary spot.

See you tomorrow at the Banks, deadass!
