Celebrate J.K. Rowling's Birthday with a Round of 'Harry Potter' Quidditch Beer Pong
In honor of J.K. Rowling’s birthday, Harry Potter fans everywhere can celebrate with a round of Quidditch beer pong. Sure, you can’t actually get on flying broomsticks and capture a ball, but you can definitely team up with fellow members of your Hogwarts house to duel against others.
Whether you’re a Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, you’ll love this creative take on beer pong—which is sure to quickly become a staple at every summer party.
The Quidditch beer pong set, sold on Etsy, is handmade from plastic, timber, wooden dowels, and of course, cups. It features a standard straight hoop and a tilted hoop that players can insert cups into for “added variety, mayhem, and magic.” A cup of water must be inserted into each ring-slash-base to act as a weight for each Quidditch hoop to stay upright.
The creators of the Harry Potter-inspired beer pong game wanted all of the parts to look hand-crafted, so they would fit into “the Harry Potter world aesthetic.” There are three options to choose from: the 3D printed parts on their own, the 3D printed parts with the stems, and a complete set of all the parts, plus cups and ping-pong balls.
