Celebrate Independence Day with an array of events in Jackson, W. Tenn.

Not sure how to celebrate Independence Day this year? Fireworks displays, parades and orchestra performances are just a few events offered in West Tennessee. Here are the events happening throughout the region over the weekend:

June 30

City of Milan Fireworks Show featuring entertainment by the Todd Hill Orchestra, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Milan City Park, located at 7001 Ellington Dr. in Milan.

Red, White, & Bolivar celebrates Independence Day with food, live music, activities, and a fireworks display. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Sand Beach Lake, 575 East Market St. in Bolivar.

Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park is holding events throughout the weekend. Some events require a fee. To purchase tickets, visit tnstateparks.com/parks/events/pinson-mounds.

July 1

Cheers & Beers for Uncle Sam Independence Day Celebration, 11 a.m. to 3 pm. at The Ledge, located at 3581 Hwy 70 E in Jackson. There will be free food, fun activities for the whole family, and a motorcycle display. RSVP online at bumpushdjackson.com/event/24382/4thofjuly.

Fireworks and Bean Bag Toss, 9 a.m. at the Home Depot, 1120 Vann Drive in Jackson. Spark student interest in fireworks safety with a beanbag toss game featuring a creative design twist. After decorating their beanbag board, students will experiment with variations to the rules of the game.

Discovery Park of America's Independence Day Celebration is happening all day at 830 Everett Boulevard in Union City. Featuring living historians, a "Ringing of the Bell" ceremony featuring a full-size replica of the Liberty Bell, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and colonial games and activities.

Birdsong’s Red, White, and BOOM! celebration lasts throughout the weekend. Featuring karaoke, a car, Jeep, and motorcycle show, food trucks, fishing, and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Trimble Independence Day Celebration, presented by the Trimble Lion's Club in downtown Trimble. Hutcheson Brothers perform at 5 p.m., with a parade and cornhole tournament following. Fireworks begin at dark.

Fireworks and Entertainment at Reelfoot Lake. Jonathan Len will be providing entertainment at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

July 2

Annual 4th of July Celebration, 6 p.m. at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 256 E College St., in Dyer. The celebration features a community-wide church service.

July 4

Firefighter's Freedom Festival at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, 308 Grady Montgomery Drive in Jackson. There will be live music, food, and activities for kids. Once the sun goes down, there will be a professional fireworks display.

Annual Independence Day Parade, 10 a.m. at The Ledge, 3581 Hwy 70 E. in Jackson. A day of celebration for the entire family. Following the parade, there will be a BBQ lunch.

4th of July Children's Parade, 9 a.m. at Halls Community Center, 201 N College Street in Halls. Kids will decorate bikes, strollers, trikes, and wagons. The parade will proceed down Main, turn down Carmen, Tigrett, and lastly College. There will also be a fire truck on site to help cool off the crowd.

Jackson Rockabillys Baseball will play against the Cape Girardeau Catfish at 7 p.m. at the Ballpark at Jackson, located at 4 Fun Place.

4th of July BBQ, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veterans of Foreign Wars, 2048 N Main St. in Milan. Includes BBQ, baked beans, coleslaw, sweet tea, and dessert. Veterans eat free, $8 for everyone else.

Paris Landing State Park 4th of July celebration, featuring water fun, live entertainment, picnic sites, and fireworks. Call 731-641-4465 for more information.

Festival of the Lakes at Beech Lake, located at 210 Bob Henderson Dr. in Lexington, Tenn. Featuring entertainment and a 30-minute fireworks display.

McKenzie Freedom Festival at McKenzie Park, 570 Como St. in McKenzie. The vent kicks off with a children's parade followed by food and entertainment. Bring your own chairs or a quilt to enjoy the fireworks show.

Union City Fireworks at the Obion County Fairgrounds, 1711 E Church St. in Union City. There will be live music, food, and of course, fireworks.

City of Medina July 4th Celebration. The fireworks start at dusk at Medina Community Park, located at 1387 Middle School St. in Medina.

Martin Loves America - 150th Celebration Fireworks Show at Martin Recreational Complex, located at 8457 US-45E in Martin. This year's celebration promises to be bigger than ever! Don't forget a picnic blanket or chairs, or you can watch the show from the comfort of your vehicle.

39th Annual Dyer Station Celebration at Dyer City Park, 296 Freemont St. in Dyer. Featuring a parade, arts and crafts, a pet show, and fireworks.

Pickwick Landing State Park's 4th of July Celebration at 116 State Park Lane in Counce. WKWX will broadcast live from the event starting at 7 p.m. Featuring food, live music, events throughout the park, and fireworks.
