From the middle of last century and for over 50 years, the Taittinger family owned Lutetia, the only palace on the Left Bank in Paris, and today the hotel has its own exclusive Taittinger Cuvée Lutetia.

Embark on a journey from the vibrant city of Paris to the serene and picturesque Champagne region, best known for its breathtaking vineyards and culinary excellence. Enjoy a seamless classic car ride with one of our chauffeurs, who will drive guests along the prettiest roads of the region following the Marne River Valley. Upon arrival to historic Reims, guests will visit Taittinger’s Comtes de Champagne Residence, a beautiful stone building in the ancient heart of the city, parts of which are thought to date back to the 1200s. During this unique experience, visitors will converse – virtually – with the legendary Thibaud IV, thirteenth century Count of Champagne, and sample the cuvées he inspired, Taittinger Brut Réserve and Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs. Part audio experience, part tasting, this is an opportunity to discover the amazing story behind an iconic figure from the Comtes of Champagne dynasty.

On return to Lutetia Paris following a drive through the countryside, guests will be served a specially curated Taittinger wine-matched dinner, created by Chef Patrick Charvet, in the hotel’s iconic Brasserie Lutetia. At the end of the meal, guests will be presented with a personalized bottle of Champagne Taittinger.
The Champagne Experience begins at $5,439 depending on the room category of the guest, and the experience can be enjoyed by reservation only, and all reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
