Burger King is planning a weeklong celebration for its 70th birthday with free slices of birthday pie, sandwiches, and more.

The Royal Perks appropriately start on May 28, which is National Hamburger Day. BK loyalty program members who spend at least 70 cents can get a free hamburger that day.

The burger chain's official birthday arrives on June 1, which is when any BK loyalty program members who spend 70 cents or more can get a free slice of pie. The Birthday Pie Slice has a cookie-crumb crust and cake-flavored filling and is garnished with birthday cake bites, whipped topping, and rainbow sprinkles. For a limited time starting May 13, you can purchase the pie at Burger Kings nationwide.

Here's the full list of freebies you can get at Burger King during the birthday celebration (all require a 70-cent purchase with the BK App or online):

  • Tuesday, May 28: Free hamburger

  • Wednesday, May 29: Free Croissan’wich

  • Thursday, May 30: Free medium soft drink

  • Friday, May 31: Free cheeseburger

  • Saturday, June 1: Free Birthday Pie Slice

  • Sunday, June 2: Free Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich

  • Monday, June 3: Free Whopper Jr.

If you aren't a BK rewards member already, you can sign up on the BK App or at bk.com.

The first Burger King opened in Miami, Florida, in 1954. Today it's part of a publicly traded, international company, but the Burger King headquarters still resides in Miami. Happy birthday, BK.
