Celebrate Barbie’s 60th Birthday This Saturday With These Freakin' Adorable Barbie Cakes

Everyone's favorite OG doll is turning 60 (!) on Saturday, and to celebrate, some of the world's most famous bakeries are going all out with incredible Barbie-themed cakes.

First up, from Magnolia Bakery, is this four-tiered (well, five if you count the perching Barbs) colorful masterpiece that was "inspired by the Barbie journey, from the retro, original design to Barbie Fashionista’s to today’s fearless women," the bakery notes. That's not only reflected in the different colors and patterns reflected throughout the cake, but also by through the big message of "you can be ANYTHING."

The woman-owned Susie Cakes got in on the celebrations this week, too, with a slightly more reserved version of a Barbie cake. Rather than using the cake as a vessel for representing Barbie's career as a whole, the bakery looked to her "iconic and classic first outfit" for inspiration.

The Flour Shop's version falls somewhere in between the first two, featuring Barbie waving from a gorgeous rainbow-colored cake dress that cuts open to a festive sprinkle dump.

According to a press release, we can expect more Barbie cakes from some major cake players over the course of the week (and we'll continue to update this post with standouts as Saturday approaches). The good news is, even if you don't live near any of these bakeries, you can whip up your own version of a Barbie or princess cake. You're welcome.
