CDLP's New Summer Drop Tributes the Vitality of Rio de Janeiro

Swedish design house CDLP just launched the second drop of its Spring/Summer 2024 collection, paying tribute to the vibrant essence of Rio de Janeiro. Teaming up with the award-winning Brazilian cinematographer Leco Moura, the new campaign is presented as postcards between friends, captured with a Super 8 format.

This season's menswear features a range of soft tailoring, crafted from a blend of linen and TENCEL lyocell. Bermuda shorts and pocket detailing characterize the seasonal offering, as well as an exploration of draping, folding and new dyeing processes. Swim shorts mimic lightweight parachutes while double-layered swim briefs provide hues of white, "Cinnamon" and sky blue.

Elsewhere, the collection reintroduces women's swimwear, featuring sports-inspired bikinis in black and "Panna Cotta" along with one-pieces in black and "Poppy Red." Moderate coverage is provided through the Racer Bikini Top and Racer-Back Swimsuit, while more minimal coverage comes courtesy of the Triangle Bikini Top and Tanga Briefs.

Finally, SS24 includes the Un Cadeau de la Providence Beach Towel alongside menswear-inspired boxer shorts and jersey loungewear.
