On August 2, Big Brother will return for its milestone 25th season. And in honor of the milestone, CBS has announced an Entertainment Tonight special, "Big Brother 25th Anniversary Celebration," to air the week prior on July 26.

The one-hour special, hosted by ET correspondent Nischelle Turner, will take place in the hallowed halls of the Big Brother house, which has been home to decades of competitions, showmances, and cutthroat gameplay. According to a press release from CBS, "The special looks at the most notable Big Brother highlights over the years, including the showmances, biggest feuds and rivalries, shocking twists, historic houseguests and groundbreaking moments in reality TV history."

Throughout the special, Turner will interview host Julie Chen-Moonves, who has been with the program since its first season, as well as various houseguests from over the years. The list includes Cody Calafiore (season 16, season 22 winner), Taylor Hale (season 24 winner), Derrick Levasseur (season 16 winner), Jordan Lloyd (season 11 winner, season 13), Xavier Prather (season 23 winner), Rachel Reilly (season 12, season 13 winner), Azah Awasum (season 23), Hannah Chaddha (season 23), Derek Frazier (season 23), Frankie Grande (season 16), Tiffany Mitchell (season 23), Janelle Pierzina (seasons 6, 7, 14 & 22), Danielle Reyes (season 3 runner-up, season 6), Kaysar Ridha (seasons 6, 7 & 22), Jeff Schroeder (seasons 11 & 13) and Brendon Villegas (seasons 12 & 13).

Though the press release from CBS doesn't go into additional detail about what subjects the special will tackle, some topics can be assumed based on the alumni appearing. Danielle, Kaysar, and Janelle will speak about the show's early days, representing the "old-school" era of the show. Showmances will most likely be highlighted, considering how much the show likes to tout it creates more marriages than The Bachelor franchise. And it has two of its most infamous couples in "Brenchel" and "Jordeff." It's guaranteed a segment will be dedicated to the "Cookout" alliance from Big Brother 23, considering arguably the most dominant alliance in the show's history has nearly all of its members in attendance. Derrick and Cody will be able to speak about their own partnership, which has garnered two wins. And Taylor is the most recent Big Brother winner, as well as the first Black woman to win the civilian version of the show.

But while the special will do plenty of looking back, it will also tease what lies ahead. At the end, fans will get a sneak peek of the season 25 house, as well as some first clues about the first big twist of the summer. It will hope to tide viewers over until the live 90-minute premiere and move-in airing that next Wednesday.
