There’s a New Caviar Bar for RH Superfans

The next chapter of RH, Restoration Hardware’s retail and hospitality takeover is here, and it’s more mouthwatering than ever. After opening its tony Guesthouse in New York last fall—a hotel concept limited to just six rooms, three suites, and one penthouse—not to mention inaugurating a sprawling U.K. outpost in a 17th-century Cotswolds estate earlier this year, the brand has opened its very own Champagne and caviar bar.

Limited to just 32 seats, the new Manhattan space combines the “glamour of secretive and sensual speakeasies of the past and the most luxurious private lounges and clubs of the present,” according to RH chairman and CEO Gary Friedman. Secreted away down a European oak staircase, the space’s lacquered walls, amber glass ceilings, and Italian Calacatta marble tables channel the signature sense of RH luxury.

Patrons can snack on everything from caviar lobster rolls to caviar latkes and potato skins. There’s even a chips-and-dip option for those who prefer their Petrossian served up in a less formal setting. Champagnes on offer include favorites like Dom Pérignon, Krug, and more, as well as rarer finds like bottles of 1975 Dom Pérignon Oenothèque.

Those eager to get straight to the crème fraîche and bubbles can make reservations now via OpenTable. Since it’s right around the corner from RH’s sprawling Meatpacking District store, it’s a great spot for a nightcap after a full day of shopping.

The concept won’t stop here, either: Friedman notes that the brand will open similar Champagne and caviar bar concepts in Paris, London, and Aspen over the course of the next three years. Cheers to that!
