Little kids and pets in the household have a very special bond. They’re each other’s best friends with the fur baby always looking after the child. But as adorable as they are together, they sometimes get into some trouble.

O.M.G. That’s so sweet! Do see how happy the dog is? He’s just excited to be coming along for the car ride and the fact that his human sibling gave him the better seat. Now, that is true love!

It’s not every day that you get a dog so calm and happy to be in the car, let alone be in a car seat. LOL! If you have a fur baby that gets too excited for car rides, there are ways to keep dogs happy on a road trip. The best way to get them comfortable in a car is to start training them as soon as possible. Make the car a familiar, happy place by putting in their blanket or toy. Try getting your dog to exercise before the trip to get out any energy and of course, plan for breaks so they can stretch their legs, and get water and food. The happier and more comfortable your dog is, the more enjoyable a car ride or road trip will be!
