The Cats movie trailer is finally here, and it is a lot to take in. Taylor Swift tweeted the first look at the musical-turned-feature-film, which she'll be playing Bombalurina in. "I am a cat now and somehow that was everything #CatsMovie," she wrote.

Swift and her co-stars seem to be completely transformed into cats thanks to motion caption technology. The appearance of the live-action characters was the subject of much curiosity until today. You can also see what the actors look like behind the scenes—without the fur and just in regular clothes—in the video featurette shared earlier this week below:

Swift spoke in that video about her history with Cats and her experience filming the movie. “My first memories of performance go back to when I was in Pennsylvania growing up," she said. "My favorite thing was getting to be theatrical, to tell a story, and I’ve always brought that sort of narrative element to my live shows.”

On the look of Cats in the big screen adaptation, Swift said, “We got to upgrade it in ways that are so great. I came right from a stadium tour [Reputation World Tour] into rehearsals. People coming together from all corners of entertainment. Everybody’s working really long hours rehearsing and it’s fun. I was so honored to be a part of this.”

Swift is joined by a very star-studded cast: Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Judi Dench, and Ian McKellen are among the actors in the film. The movie will be out this holiday.
