Our cats are our friends. They are there for us through thick and thin, cheer us up when we are sad, and love to cuddle up on the sofa purring on our laps any chance they get. As the song goes, "And when we goth get older, with walking canes and hair of gray, have no fear even though it's hard to hear I will stand real close and say thank you for being a friend!"

Check out this adorable rescue cat named Winner dressed as Sophia from The Golden Girls in a video shared October 23. Her costume is just purrfect!

The video, shared by TikTok user @winwinrescue just could not be any cuter and TikTok users agree. @Breanna comments, "You need more cats to fulfill the rest of the cast!!" @Catmom replies, "Golden Girls was one of my favorite shows growing up." @Brianna adds, "Looking at this while watching the Golden Girls."

One of the reasons this video has everyone so up in their feelings is that Betty White, the beloved actress who played Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls and sadly passed in 2021 was a huge animal rights advocate and supporter of rescue dogs and cats. Even though Winner looks a little bit more like Sophia than Rose, she's still totally adorable.

In 2021, Today reported on the huge legacy of animal rights work that White took part in. “She’s been involved with American Humane for over 70 years — that’s nearly half of our 145-year existence,” Robin Ganzert, CEO and president of American Humane, told TODAY. “That makes her the longest living supporter of American Humane in our history.”

We can't help but think Betty would have been absolutely charmed by this little rescue cat's Golden Girls tribute!
