Cat's Hilarious and Reasonable Reaction to Owner Pausing a Movie Wins the Internet
Often times while watching TV, cats will come moseying on over to the couch. Something on the screen drew them in and now, they're sitting right next to you binging whatever show you're watching.
As sweet as this interaction is, in typical cat fashion, it quickly turns into their TV time and if you dare disrupt them, they'll be so upset. That's evident in this recent clip from TikTok user @ellawatchestv_. The cat's reaction to her owner pausing the movie is internet gold.

LMAO! Poor baby was just trying to enjoy TV when this cat owner thought it would be funny to pause the movie. We can't stand people who constantly pause or talk over movies so we totally get where this cat is coming from. Plus, cats are on a strict schedule. She only had so much time to sneak in a movie before she had to return to her precious sleep. Did you know that cats sleep 12-16 hours a day? So between all this rest and eating, she really didn't have time for shenanigans. LOL!
We're actually surprised this owner was able to get the TV remote without the cat attacking. Although, the cat's ears did perk up when her owner touched the remote. This must happen frequently so the cat needs to be ready at all times to get the TV turned back on ASAP.
Watching TV with your cat is seen as one of the ways to show your cat that you love them. It's considered spending quality time with them. How sweet is that?! Other ways to build a bond with your feline companion include engaging in playtime, creating a cozy sleep area, providing a healthy diet and cleanliness, and what we think is their favorite, treats.
