The actress celebrated Mother's Day in the UK.

Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated the UK's Mother's Day with a sweet tribute to her mother, Patricia Fair.

"Dearest Mam, on this day, and everyday, you inspire me and love me for everything I am and everything I am not," she wrote on Instagram. "Could there possibly be enough days to thank you? You are my Queen. I love you Mam."

The post featured pictures of the actress with her mom. One adorable photo shows Fair and Zeta-Jones at a party, wearing festive accessories while posing alongside Zeta-Jones' children Carys and Dylan.

The actress doesn't come from an entertainment family like her husband Michael Douglas. While Jones was growing up, Fair worked as a seamstress.

In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Zeta-Jones recalled that after Fair noticed her daughter's love for performance at four years old, she bought Jones tap shoes for dance classes.

"Dancing was a real passion for me. My mother still doesn’t really know where it came from," said Jones in the interview. "I’m a very private person, but you put me on a stage and the lights just turn on for me."

She also told the publication that she would never consider herself a "great beauty" but her mother always told her to "make the best" of herself, which she credits for the way she carries her appearance.

Zeta-Jones has always remained close to her mother. In an Instagram post from July 2021, she shared pictures of their reunion after spending time apart due to the pandemic.

"Just loving being with my Mam and Dad after being apart for so long. They are just the best, they give so much joy. I am blessed, truly blessed," she captioned the post, showing the family spending time together on a yacht.
