September 25 is a big day for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas' family as both stars celebrate their birthday.
To commemorate her husband's big day this year–his 79th birthday, to be exact–the Wednesday actress shared a montage of photos featuring Douglas and his loved ones at different stages of his life.
Set to the song "Fever," made famous by singer Peggy Lee, Zeta-Jones gave fans a never-before-seen glimpse of his life, sharing photos of the actor as a child, teen and young adult, as well as candid pictures of the couple throughout their many years together.
"It’s Michael’s Birthday! It my Birthday!" she began in the caption of Monday's Instagram post. "Happy birthday @michaelkirkdouglas, love you!"
Douglas didn't appear to reply in the comments, but he did share a sweet ode to his wife, who turned 54, earlier in the day.
"Have a great new year darling!" he exclaimed alongside a black and white throwback photo of the pair, also posted to the picture-sharing platform. "Wishing you a very happy birthday!" Signed, "All my love, Michael ❤️ @catherinezetajones."
Zeta-Jones gushed over her hubby once more for good measure, thanking him in the comments of his thoughtful upload. "Thank you! and Happy Birthday to you too darling♥️," she wrote.
The Hollywood couple has celebrated nearly two dozen birthdays together (and counting!) over the course of their 20-year relationship.
After first meeting in 1998, they married in 2000 and then later welcomed two children, 23-year-old son Dylan and 20-year-old daughter Carys. The pair briefly separated in late 2013, but months later, they announced they were back together and have been going strong ever since, they were even recently spotted taking a romantic stroll in Portofino.
