Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton, Emily Blunt in Elie Saab and More BAFTA Awards 2024 Red Carpet Arrivals

Stars including Cate Blanchett, Emma Stone and Emily Blunt touched down in London on Sunday to attend the 77th British Academy Film Awards, also known as the BAFTAs. The annual ceremony honors the year’s best productions and performances in the movie industry, both foreign and national. Held at Royal Festival Hall, this year’s show is hosted by “Doctor Who” star David Tennant.

Cate Blanchett

Blanchett’s high-neck Louis Vuitton gown, crafted from burgundy compact crepe jersey, featured leather sleeve caps and an open back. The actress accessorized with a re-worked necklace from the French label, which included repurposed pearls and stones. Blanchett was styled by Elizabeth Stewart, who’s also known for working with Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Chastain and Elizabeth Olsen.

Emma Stone

Featuring a large puff sleeve, Stone’s custom Louis Vuitton silk jacquard and organza gown channeled the 1980s. The actress added on jewelry by the French fashion house, which included a yellow gold and platinum diamond necklace, earrings and ring. Stone was assisted by her longtime stylist, Petra Flannery.

Emily Blunt

Blunt’s intricate Elie Saab gown came from the label’s spring 2024 couture line. Her beaded frock also featured cutouts and bell sleeves.

Carey Mulligan

For Carey Mulligan, stylist Andrew Mukamal tapped the talents of Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri to recreate a vintage design from the French label’s archives. Mulligan’s strapless silk and velvet gown featured bodice detailing and a corseted silhouette.

Ayo Edebiri

“The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri opted for a halter neck Bottega Veneta gown in Pantone’s color of the year: peach fuzz. Her custom frock was styled with opera gloves and a floor-length fur stole adorned with white plumes. Edebiri was dressed by Danielle Goldberg, who also counts Kaia Gerber, Greta Lee and Olivia Rodrigo as clients.
