Cate Blanchett Is Cool with the Claim That Harry Styles Is Copying Her Outfits
When it comes to style, we're always trying to mimic Cate Blanchett's effortless blend of edge and glamour. And it seems we're not the only ones: Twitter users have found one too many resemblances between the Academy Award winner and former One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles's wardrobes.
Leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to shed some light on the situation, as she clued Blanchett into the copying claims on her Monday show. "You always have such great style ... and speaking of style, Harry Styles. Someone is showing pictures—have you seen these yet?" the host asked the actress. "That Harry Styles is copying your outfits? Have you seen this?"
Blanchett had no idea what she meant until DeGeneres showed some of her and Styles's ensembles side-by-side on the screen.
"Who wore it better?" Blanchett hilariously asked the audience. "Right? Who's sitting here now? Because I mean if Harry comes in next week you can change your minds, but for now ..."
The actress revealed she's never met the former One Direction-er and that the resemblances are "so random."
