After Catastrophically Snapping His Frame, Bernard Kerr Is Back On The Prototype Downhill Bike

In Bernard Kerr's race run last month in the Taniwha Downhill at Crankworx Rotorua, his frame snapped spectacularly when he came up short on an enormous triple.

Thankfully, Kerr is unperturbed and back on the downhill bike. Watch Bernard ride at his favorite place on earth, the Dyfi Bike Park below.

In this video, Kerr finished building up his backup frame, said to be his last prototype in his warehouse before taking to the Dyfi trails.

The Prototype stood up well to the abuses of the Dyfi bike park, but Kerr must have had some hesitation about pushing it to the limit after the catastrophe.

Kerr was riding with a properly star-studded crew. The Athertons and Tahnée Seagrave are practically british Mountain bike royalty.

Dyfi Bike Park, owned by the Athertons is a popular bike Park in Wales. As you can see by the fastest British racers making it their home base, this popularity is for good reason.
