Cat Warming Up to New Kitty Sibling Is the Definition of 'Trust the Process'

All you need is a little patience.

Introducing pets to a new furry family member can always be hit or miss. Sometimes it’s a walk in the park and they instantly become best friends. But other times, pets can’t stand the newbies. It’s all about patience though.

TikTok user @charlie.makeupx figured getting a new kitten would be easy since their cat was missing their fur sibling who passed over the rainbow bridge. That was very much not the case. This TikToker just needed to ‘trust the process’ and go through a very long month with the two fur babies. Take a look!

Aww! That was probably a very difficult and long month watching the two cats not getting along. We can’t imagine what was going through this TikToker’s mind when the cat was hissing at the kitten for over a week. They clearly had more patience than anyone and a lot of trust that it would work out in the end.

“I can’t. The cuddle, in the end, broke me,” said @eparamakotobalavu. SAME! Our hearts were breaking because we thought they were never going to get along so to see this at the end is beyond beautiful. We’re so happy for them! @_.pantherz._ added, “Poor baby he was shaking at first but now they are BFFs.”

@dandiestcat suggested,” He was maybe still grieving but so glad to see he warmed up!” Oh, that could very well be the case. We hope this cat knows they never wanted to replace his fur sibling. The kitten will only help mend a broken heart for the whole family!
