All Jerry wants is someone to love and cuddle him.

At first, Jerry's story captivated the Internet for the most heartbreaking reason. He had acted 'too affectionate' toward his then-owner, so she surrendered him to @humanebroward to find someone else to love. While in the shelter, though, he seemed shut down and afraid.

Oh, Jerry! Seeing him so depressed practically brings tears to our eyes. We know the folks at Humane Society Broward County were loving on him as much as they could, but it couldn't have been easy being taken out of your home. Luckily, he'll be headed to a new home where he can be as affectionate as he pleases!

We're elated to see this news! Jerry seems like the sweetest boy, and now he has two doting parents to love. And it seems like they love him right back! Needless to say, this kitty's fans are thrilled for his good news.

"I was bawling from the first Jerry video out of anger and sadness," commenter @sheargenuiscreations shared. "Now I'm bawling from overwhelming happiness he's adopted!" Aww! It's so sweet how Jerry has so many folks cheering for him. In fact, his fans already want updates from the new family!

@Asflowers_76 had the best idea. She said, "Whoever adopted Jerry, please make a TikTok so we can watch Jerry thrive! I think he’s our cat now!" Aww, that would be amazing! She is right, though--Jerry is basically a TikTok legend now. It's all part of his Happily Ever After!
