Cat 'Demanding' to Be Part of Parents' Hug Is the Definition of Cuteness

Cats have a reputation as an independent, even aloof kind of pet, but many cats will prove that the opposite is true. In fact, most indoor cats are as loving as can be! Even if they're independent, too, the majority of felines are sweet, patient, and affectionate. Just ask Eevee and Yoshi's parents!

These two Ragdoll cats couldn't possibly be cuter--or so I thought. Male cat Yoshi demanded to be part of his parents' hug on October 11, and his TikTok followers are practically melting from the sweetness. Naturally, so am I!

Aww! I'm not sure who's sweeter--Yoshi or his parents! They welcomed him into the hug with open arms and lots of scratches, and there's no doubt how much he appreciated it. The poor kitty wasn't feeling well, but once he had his parents' attention his eyes started to close and he looked as relaxed as ever. Cats' body language tells all!

It was so sweet to see all the love and well-wishes sent to the male half of the @eeveeandyoshi duo. He's been suffering from allergy symptoms for a few weeks, leaving the cat's eyes watery, swollen, and irritated. Fortunately, his parents report that he's starting to feel better!

While he's healing up, the sweet Ragdoll kitty is enjoying lots of attention from fur siblings and hugs from Mom and Dad. You can definitely blame his neediness on his allergies, but this affectionate cat's breed might also have something to do with it! Ragdolls are known for being loving and cuddly cats compared with other breeds, though personality has a lot to do with it, too.

I have a feeling that Yoshi's parents don't care why he's so loving. They're just glad to be his owners!
