Just as the ‘80s were winding down, there was one final film to seal every cliché from that decade into canon. That film was, of course, 1989’s Teen Witch. Teen Witch was an adorable teen film that contained every ’80s maxim from the last ten years of film all rolled into 94 minutes of bizarre perfection. As with all films of that nature, Teen Witch flopped in a major way at the box office before becoming a cult classic during the ’90s.

Teen Witch remains a favorite today, often airing on TV during Halloween season. While we cross our fingers that ~somehow~ Teen Witch gets remade in 2017, let’s see what the cast looks like today:

Robyn Lively (Louise Miller)

Lively, our very favorite teen witch (sorry Sabrina) has a pretty extensive list of credits. While she’s still beloved as Louise, Lively is also known for her work on Doogie Howser M.D., Savannah, and a recurring role on Twin Peaks, also appearing in the Psych homage to the series.

Lively is also part of an amazing family of actors, including little sister Blake (YES, that one), which means her brother-in-law is Ryan Reynolds. Lively is also married to actor Bart Johnson, who famously appeared in the High School Musical trilogy as Coach Jack Bolton (father of Troy). We want to be invited to their Thanksgiving next year.

Zelda Rubinstein (Madame Serena Alcott)

Unfortunately Rubinstein, who played the somewhat eerie seer who mentors Louise’s teen witchery, passed away in 2010 at age 76. In addition to her role on Teen Witch, she was famous for her role in the as medium Tangina Barrons in the Poltergeist films and as narrator for the series The Scariest Places on Earth.

Dan Gauthier (Brad Powell)

Raise your hand if, like Louise, you had a crush on Brad. It turns out, Brad and Randa were truly meant to be because the couple got married IRL. Gauthier and Lisa Fuller got married in 1990, just one year after Teen Witch released. Gauthier is still acting (and is still hot), having recently recurred on MTV series Faking It. He also appeared on long-running soap One Life to Live, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy, and acted on ’90s classics Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Ellen.

Note: Gauther’s “Now” photo is from the late 2000s but is still swoon-worthy.

Amanda Ingber (Polly Goldenberg-Cohen)

As the most relatable best friend, Ingber, who now goes professionally by Mandy Ingber, was perfect. Ingber no longer acts but is now a professional yoga instructor who has instructed celebrities like Jennifer Aniston. She is, apparently, a go-to yoga instructor to the stars.

Joshua Miller (Richie Miller)

Everyone’s favorite younger brother, Miller now goes by his full name Joshua John Miller. No longer acting, Miller is still heavily involved in the entertainment industry as a writer. After obtaining advanced degrees in writing, Miller collaborated with partner M.A. Fortin on horror film The Final Girls. The duo also created and serve as executive producers for USA Network hit Queen of the South.

Lisa Fuller (Randa)

While starring as Louise’s rival Randa, she went on to marry their mutual object of affection, Dan Gauthier, who played Brad Powell. Fuller hasn’t acted since 1989, also appearing in The Monster Squad and Night Life in that same year.
Note: Fuller’s “now” pic is also from the late 2000s and Gauthier makes an appearance because Gauthier doesn’t appear to be on social media and Fuller’s Instagram doesn’t contain a solo shot. Trust me, dug deep.

For an added bonus, here’s a picture of the cast from their reunion in May:

Is it too late for a sequel? I will personally write the script for Teen Witch 2: No Longer a Teen because I have SO many ideas.
