For some inexplicable reason, Saturday Night Live asked Elon Musk to host this week’s show, and nope: No one is thrilled. Fans have already expressed their disappointment at SNL giving Musk a spotlight, and some members of the cast are right there with them.

As CNBC reports, Bowen Yang posted a frowny face on Instagram Stories and then asked, “What the fuck does this even mean?” in response to Elon tweeting, “Let’s find out just how live Saturday Night Live really is.”

Meanwhile, Andrew Dismukes reportedly wrote on his IG Stories, “ONLY CEO I WANT TO DO A SKETCH WITH IS Cher-E Oteri,” and Aidy Bryant shared a Bernie Sanders tweet about wealth disparity, which reads in part, “The 50 wealthiest people in this country own more wealth than some 165 million Americans. That is a moral obscenity.”

As a reminder, Elon is a billionaire who has spent his free time this past year downplaying the coronavirus pandemic. He most recently made headlines for casually announcing that a “bunch of people probably will die” during SpaceX’s first attempted voyages to Mars. He also mused, “You might die… and you probably won’t have good food and all these things. It’s an arduous and dangerous journey where you may not come back alive, but it’s a glorious adventure. Sounds appealing. Mars is the place. That’s the ad. That’s the ad for Mars.”

Anyway, just gonna leave these here!
