Cassie Randolph Accuses Colton Underwood of Attempting to "Monetize" Their Breakup

• Cassie Randolph has accused Colton Underwood of trying to make her look bad and attempting to monetize their breakup.

Yikes, Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph's breakup is getting messy. By which I mean Cassie just accused Colton of trying to monetize their relationship. But let's rewind a second. On Monday, Cassie showed up on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever! and chatted with host Chris Harrison about her split from Colton. Except apparently that's not all they talked about, and she later hit up Instagram Stories to accuse the show of editing the interview and maintained that she “said absolutely nothing” of substance about her relationship/breakup.

Flash-forward a few days and Colton hit Instagram with a post wherein he seemingly implied that Cassie had broken their agreement not to talk about the breakup in public, saying "When our relationship ended we agreed to handle things as privately as possible as we attempted to navigate our new relationship as friends. I chose to do that since we were living in this interim period, but obviously a lot changed this week."

And yeah, Cassie isn't thrilled. She hopped on Instagram Stories with a lengthy statement, asking Colton to refrain from talking about their split and accusing him of trying to make her look bad:

"I would like to state that I do not wish to create an online petty war," Cassie said, later adding "Colton, your last Instagram post saddened me, but also left me frustrated. It seems you are subtly engaging in a tactic that peppers in aggressive comments such as 'that obviously changed this week' in order to make me look like the bad one."

She then accused him of trying to monetize their breakup:

"On Monday evening, you informed me you intend to monetize our breakup by writing a new chapter to discuss your experience with COVID (where you stayed in my family's house during your recovery & about our breakup," she wrote. "You have also refused to give me any sort of approval on the chapter you will be writing, which will heavily feature me... This seems a bit unfair to me. Colton, you can do what you want, but please do not have a double standard."
