Diddy Just Congratulated Cassie, Who Is Pregnant With Her First Child 8 Months After Their Split

• His well wishes came less than eight months after he and Cassie split.

Cassie Ventura (a.k.a Cassie) recently announced that she's pregnant with a baby girl in an Instagram post. This is her first child with her boyfriend, Alex Fine. The news came eight months after Cassie split from her longtime boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs, whom she called it quits with back in October after several years of dating. But it looks like there was no bad blood there, because now, Diddy is congratulating the happy couple.

"Congratulations @Cassie and Alex," Diddy captioned an Instagram photo of Cassie and her beau. "I wish you all nothing but love and happiness. God bless ❤️❤️❤️ L O V E"

In her original announcement post about her upcoming bundle of joy, Cassie wrote in a sweet caption: "Can’t wait to meet our baby girl 💗," alongside pictures of herself and Fine, who is a competitive bull rider and personal trainer. "Love You Always & Forever." A source told People at the time that "the decision was amicable and they remain friends," and that Cassie planned to "focus on her music and acting career."

Fine also took to social media to echo his excitement, sharing a message for his future baby girl in an Instagram post entitled Letter to my Daughter. "I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever," he wrote.

"I never thought my heart could grow bigger after meeting your mother... then I found out we were having you and I instantly felt a love that is so indescribable. I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first," Fine's post continued.

"I will be the Dad that never forces my opinions on you. I will love whatever you do in life as long as you're happy. I promise that I will be kind, sweet, and you will always be daddy's little girl. I promise to love you every single second unconditionally until my last breath. You're perfect to me and always will be." The couple first went public with their romance in December, when Cassie shared an Instagram snap of herself kissing Fine at a Christmas party. Congratulations to the soon-to-be parents!
