Almost exactly a decade after their granddaughter's disappearance, George and Cindy Anthony opened up about how Caylee Anthony's unexplained death continues to haunt their lives.

The couple spoke to interviewer Elizabeth Vargas in the new A&E special Casey Anthony's Parents Speak about what happened to the 2-year-old who lived in their Orlando home. Caylee mysteriously vanished in June 2008; her remains were found six months later in nearby woods. Although a jury trial found Caylee's mother Casey Anthony not guilty of first-degree murder in 2011, questions remain to this day about what happened to the little girl.

The Anthonys have stayed together 10 years after the tragedy, but they made their anguish clearly felt in last night's interview. Here's what happened in the bombshell appearance.

Cindy accused George of lying to her like Casey.

The couple said they once nearly divorced because of George's addiction to online gambling, but decided to work through their problems when Caylee was 10-months-old. While they voiced their devotion to each other, tensions still arose over money that went missing before the toddler's disappearance.

George claims that Casey had taken cash out of his wife's wallet and withdrew funds from a savings account for Caylee, but his wife defended their daughter.

"But George, Casey learned by example,” Cindy told her husband. “You lied to me for several years, and that’s where our daughter got it."

"Don't deny it," George replied.

Cindy walked off set - twice.

The heated exchange caused Cindy to exit the room as Vargas called for a break, but even after they regrouped, tensions remained high. Later on, George told Cindy to shut up and she walked out again. He later apologized, calling his wife the strongest one during the family's ordeal.

George never asked Casey who fathered Caylee.

Casey never publicly revealed the paternity, and George states he never inquired about the biological father of his grandchild.

"I was so excited, I didn’t really bombard her with any questions," he told Vargas about his daughter's pregnancy. "I didn’t ask her about the father. I didn’t ask her about any of that stuff."

Cindy believes someone else searched for "foolproof suffocation" on the family computer.

Internet browsing history revealed a person in the household had conducted the search on June 16, 2008, but prosecutors never saw the evidence before the trial. However, Casey's mother claims that someone other Casey did it, but she declined to say who.

They still disagree on what happened to Caylee.

The couple has remained split over the years on their theories about what happened to their granddaughter. George remains convinced that his daughter knows how Caylee died. Casey's trial defense previously posed the theory that George disposed of the toddler's body after she drowned in the family pool, something he vehemently denied.

They no longer maintain a relationship, but Cindy has spoken a few times to her daughter after the trial. She called Casey an "awesome mother" at one point in the interview, but admits that they will probably never know what happened to Caylee Anthony.
