Casey Affleck Pens Heartfelt Note to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez After Missing Wedding

Casey Affleck welcomed sister-in-law, Jennifer Lopez, into the family with a little bit of humor.
While Casey was unable to witness his brother, Ben Affleck, tie the knot with his new wife, that didn't stop him from showing love on social media.
The youngest Affleck penned a sweet note via Instagram to celebrate the union.
"Good things are worth waiting for," he wrote alongside a throwback photo of him and the newlyweds, adding, "Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love."
He then proceeded to give a warm welcome to the singer, while cracking a joke: "Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding." In a personal moment, he added, "Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!! ❤️"
The snap is a blast from the past as it was taken when #Bennifer first got together back in 2002 and features the couple taking a stroll with Casey by their side.
Ben and JLo initially tied the knot in Vegas this past July, however, they continued the wedding festivities nearly a month later in Riceboro, Georgia. Many friends and family were in attendance for the weekend festivities, but unfortunately, Casey had to skip out on all of the fun.
A source close to PEOPLE told the outlet that Ben's brother was unable to attend due to "parental obligations at home.” According to Page Six, those parental obligations consisted of Casey taking his son to soccer practice.
The actor's girlfriend, Caylee Cowan, commented on Casey's tribute to the newlyweds in a now-deleted comment, writing: "Hey, if you weren’t in town Saturday to take Atty to soccer practice then who would’ve helped the kid who broke his arm? You’re a good man. I love you.”
