Carvel's Colorful New Tie-Dye Shake Has Us Down Right Shivering In Excitement
In addition to its epic ice cream cakes and soft serve flavored like candy bars, Carvel is also beloved for its eye-popping specialty shakes. Who remembers its Slime Shake from Halloween? The addition of edible slime to the cookies-and-cream-flavored shake made it appear not only bright green but also down right spooky.
The ice cream chain has won the season again this spring with the addition of a Tie-Dye Shake to the menu. The new shake is made with Carvel's colorful Cake Mix ice cream, which has confetti sprinkles folded into the ice cream. The resulting tie-dye swirl has five eye-popping colors: blue, green, orange, pink, and yellow. Whipped cream tops the cascade of color, plus pound cake bites and even more rainbow sprinkles.
The Tie-Dye shake hit the menu along with the Unicorn Fairy Dust shake, which Carvel labels its "most magical." Gorgeous pink and purple marshmallow drizzles bring mythical proportions to this ice cream treat. The sweet treat is also topped with whipped cream, purple sprinkles, as well as a rainbow sprinkle cone.
Because both of these shakes are listed as specialty items, they're not permanent additions to the menu.
