Cartier's Iconic Love Bracelet Now Comes in Necklace Form

In 1969, Italian jewelry designer Aldo Cipullo, then working at Cartier, created what has become one of the French house’s most iconic styles: the Love bracelet. Comprising two golden arcs that join together in a symbol of undying commitment, the piece has since been reinterpreted in numerous variations, the latest of which is a sleek gold necklace. Available in yellow and rose gold, the collar features a new hinged design and is stamped with the Love collection's signature circle motif.

Coinciding with its arrival, Cipullo: Making Jewelry Modern chronicles the innovative designer’s rise, charting his path from Naples to New York City. Along with images of his most striking creations for Cartier (he also designed the brand's Nail collection), David Webb, Tiffany & Co., and, later, his namesake label, it also includes anecdotes from and photos of Cipullo’s family and friends.
