Fall has arrived and with it several important updates, including but not limited to: the wafting smell of pumpkin spice around every corner, society's annual Gilmore Girls re-watch, and, apparently, Sunday night football.

And it looks like none other than Carrie Underwood is back for her 11th season performing the Sunday Night Football kickoff song, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night."

According to reports, Carrie earns $1 million per week (or $18 million per season) for her Sunday Night Football gig, which is truly out of this world.

"Once again, the incredible Sunday Night Football team came up with a fresh, exciting visual concept that really gave us a chance to play,” Carrie said in a statement according to Country Now. “I loved shooting the show open again this year at our home away from home, The Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, and can’t wait for another season of football!”

Meanwhile, Tripp Dixon (who is the creative director of Sunday Night Football) said “We’re thrilled to work with Carrie to capture a new vision for this season’s show open. It sets the tone for the broadcast and pays tribute to the teams, star players and fans in a fun and dynamic way."

Honestly, Carrie could do nothing but this all year and still be a millionaire, but obviously Sunday Night Football is just one of her sources of income. Find out how she makes the rest of her $100 million+ net worth this way:
