Carrie Underwood and her epic leg muscles are front of mind. And for good reason. Carrie just shared an Instagram photo dump that gave everyone an inside look at her performance at the Iowa State Fair, and her thighs are beyond chiseled as she belts her heart out. There's something about the studded booty shorts and bedazzled buckle boots that make the look a signature, effortlessly chic, Carrie 'fit.

"Soooo many cool shots from the @iowastatefair !! This crowd was insanely loud!!!! Thanks to all who came out to party!!!" the 39-year-old country star captioned the post.

Carrie shared some mid-air shots, glimpses of her most passionate notes, and a look at the massive (and completely filled!) stadium, proving that fun was had by all at the state fair that night.

While a good singing voice is more luck-of-the-draw, Carrie's sculpted legs came from dedication and training. The singer works out with her trainer almost every day, or whenever her schedule allows. "If I can work out seven days a week—which doesn’t happen, but if I can—I’m going to,” she told Women's Health.

Her trainer, Eve Overland, described Carrie's commitment to her fitness routine as a lifestyle. "Working out and staying healthy is just a way of life for Carrie. It is who she is, what she does," Overland told Shape, adding that "working out is self care and her me time."

Carrie and Overland incorporate both upper body and lower body exercises into their workouts. "Most commonly, we will work with opposing muscle groups, so she gets a lot of frequency with lower-body exercises without overworking it on any given day. This approach has contributed to her amazing strength as well as sculpted physique," Overland said, per Shape.

Some of Carrie's fave leg exercises include squats, lunges, and deadlifts, her trainer noted. She also does lateral band walks, leg press machine [reps], hamstring curls, and cable straight leg kickbacks, so her booty is just as definitely just as toned as her legs.

“I swear I use butt muscles to hit notes sometimes,” Carrie told Women's Health. Given the action shots from her shows, I'm not at all surprised that a Carrie Underwood performance is a total-body workout!

When it comes to her diet, Carrie told WH that her perfect balance is 45 percent carbs, 30 percent fat, and 25 percent protein.

The singer will start her day with a tofu or egg-white scramble, toast, berries, and coffee. She often enjoys a Tofurky sandwich with tomato, avocado, red onion, spinach, and mustard for lunch and snacks on a green smoothie or protein bar throughout the day. For dinner, she eats roasted veggies and vegan chicken.
