Take notes people because singer Carrie Underwood sure knows how to make one heck of an entrance!

After leaving everyone speechless with her mini dress number on the red carpet, the "Cowboy Casanova" singer joined forces with Jason Aldean for a performance that brought the house down at the 2022 ACM Awards. The two performed their duet, "If I Didn't Love You."

Shortly after performing, Carrie and Jason won the award for Single of the Year for their duet. They were just two of many artists on the award show's star-studded lineup. With Dolly Parton as host, a powerful Kelly Clarkson tribute, and so much more, Carrie's entrance was one of many highlights throughout the night.

Sure, awards are a big deal, but it was Carrie's Vegas-esque, aerial entrance that had all eyes on her. Jason opened with the first verse as he played the piano ascending from under the stage. Once Carrie began her verse, all eyes turned toward the sky.

Carrie looked like a queen on her throne as she descended in a black, sparkling outfit that of course, showed off those famous toned legs. After posting the performance to her Instagram, fans flooded her comments in awe of her performance. "Your entrance was the best part. Such an amazing performance 🔥," said one fan. "King & Queen of country!!! Your performance was 🔥🔥🔥🔥," said another.

People even flocked to Twitter to show the country queen some love. One person summed up our thoughts to a tee: "now THAT is how you make an entrance 👑 @carrieunderwood #acmawards".

We can't help but wonder if Carrie's aerial entrance was inspired by her residency in Las Vegas. We're sure she's seen an acrobat show or two while she's been in Sin City. The American Idol alum began her residency called REFLECTION back in December and she's already gearing up for the second leg beginning at the end of March (you can snag your tickets here).

With the tease of new music on the horizon, we can't wait to see what Carrie has up her sleeve!
