There's one big issue with the cute leggings.

Carrie Underwood showed off her hilarious fashion fail, much to the delight of her fans.

In an Instagram video, posted Feb. 23, the country star wore tight vinyl pants. "They're not [real] leather but [leather] looking leggings to wear," she said in the now popular post. "Saw them, thought they'd be cute for something."

And while the look was very in style, it ultimately did not work out for Underwood, who explained to her followers: "There's just one problem: when you walk…It doesn't really sound…great."

Underwood wasn't lying, as the footage proved the embarrassingly loud crinkling noise the pants would make whenever she moved.

The American Idol alum further poked fun at her look, writing in the caption, "I’m sorry, I can’t hear you…my pants are too loud!!!

And it wasn't just Underwood who weighed in on the noisy bottoms. Influencer Casey Holmes offered some advice in the comments: "Carrrieeee put some oil (I’ve even used olive oil) right where it's hitting and it'll be gone."

Another fan also suggested for Underwood to "put oil on them," offering that Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil would do the trick and smell "better than baby oil."

Additionally, a different fan also gave some pointers, suggesting to not wear the leggings out on warm days: "The sound is no biggie. 🤣 The heat on the other hand.... Yeah, don't wear them when it's hot."

Australian guitarist and singer Orianthi could relate to Underwood's fashion faux pas, writing, "I got purple ones like that…they are by no means sociable pants with the noise lol."

Meanwhile, Underwood's friend and famed nutritionist Cara Clark was curious about whether the singer had actually worn the pants in public. "Haha did you even ever wear them?! I remember when you bought them," she asked.

Needless to say, it sounds like Underwood is in need of some "Stretchy Pants."
